NailChances Press-On Nails Tutorial for Beginners

Welcome, NailChances newcomers! In this detailed tutorial, we'll guide you through the three common methods of applying press-on nails. After this, you'll be a pro! 🔍💅

Method 1: Gummy Adhesive Tabs*Reusable*

  1. Choose gummy adhesive tabs slightly smaller than your natural nails.
  2. Apply the jelly adhesive from the center of the nail towards the edges. Thinner adhesive ensures a stronger bond.
  3. Use a hairdryer to heat the gummy adhesive, enhancing its stickiness.
  4. Press the nail at a 45-degree angle, pushing down and backward. Avoid leaving gaps between the nail edges and your natural nails. Press firmly, eliminating any air bubbles. Remember, apply significant pressure!
  5. Avoid water contact for the first 3 hours for a secure bond. ⚠️

Method 2: Solid nail gel glue*Reusable*

Solid Nail Gel Glue, also known as PVC solid glue, is a type of acrylic nail adhesive. Made from PVC material, natural resin, and a non-toxic formula, it stands out for its malleability, providing excellent flexibility during application compared to traditional liquid nail gels. This user-friendly characteristic ensures easy and precise placement on the nail tip. Solid gel glues, like the one used in our tutorial, offer a strong and durable bond when cured under a nail lamp, making them a popular choice for straightforward application with reliable results.

  1. Apply a peel-off base coat (optional but recommended for easy removal) and cure with a lamp for approximately 15 seconds.
  2. Take a small amount of solid glue, place it on the nail tip, and firmly press it onto the natural nail.
  3. Cure under the lamp for one minute, ensuring to rotate the finger to expose all angles. Note 🧐: Wear half-finger gloves during curing to prevent tanning!

Method 3: Quick-Drying Super glue*Non-reusable*

Caution: This potent adhesive, while quick-drying, is not easily removable, making press-on nails non-reusable. It can be harsh on nails if not removed carefully.
